These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern bookings and engagements for coaching, masterclass, public speaking, and strategic advisory services (the "Services") offered by AdviSpeaking ("we," "us," "our") through advispeaking.com (the "Site").
By booking a session, submitting payment, or otherwise engaging our Services, you ("you," "the client") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not book a session. These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
We provide coaching, masterclasses, public speaking engagements, and strategic advisory sessions. The specific scope, format, and content of a given engagement will be as described on the Site or as otherwise agreed with you in writing before booking.
Our Services are professional coaching, masterclass, public speaking, and advisory services. They are not a substitute for legal, financial, medical, or psychological advice, and we do not guarantee any specific outcome, business result, or career result from participating in a session.
Coaching sessions are booked and paid for through our online booking system. Payment is required in full at the time of booking, before your session is confirmed. We do not offer deposits or part-payment plans for coaching sessions; the full session fee is collected upfront.
Masterclasses, public speaking engagements, and strategic advisory mandates are arranged on a personalised basis. To enquire about one of these engagements, please contact us at hello@advispeaking.com; the format and payment terms for these engagements will be confirmed with you individually in writing before the engagement is booked.
Where payment is collected through our online booking system, prices are shown in euros (EUR) at checkout and are inclusive of any applicable VAT unless stated otherwise. Once payment is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email with your session date and time.
Coaching begins with a discovery call, which is a separate, fixed-length session of 30 minutes used to understand what help you're looking for and gather relevant context. The discovery call is free of charge. It is booked through our online booking system, but no payment is taken, and the payment, refund and withdrawal terms in Sections 3, 5 and 6 do not apply to it. We simply ask that you let us know by email if you need to reschedule or cancel.
The duration of the coaching sessions that follow the discovery call is not fixed and is agreed with you individually, based on your needs, before those sessions are booked and paid for. Once a duration has been agreed, sessions will begin at the scheduled time; if a session begins late due to circumstances within your control (for example, joining the call late), it will still end at the originally scheduled time and will not be extended.
Masterclasses, public speaking engagements, and strategic advisory mandates do not follow a fixed duration. To discuss one of these engagements, please contact us at hello@advispeaking.com; the format and duration will be agreed with you individually in writing before booking.
You may reschedule or cancel a booked session free of charge if you give us at least 48 hours' notice before the scheduled start time, by emailing hello@advispeaking.com.
If you cancel or request to reschedule with less than 48 hours' notice, or if you do not attend the session, the session fee is not refunded, except where Section 6 (Your right of withdrawal) applies.
In exceptional circumstances, we may need to reschedule or cancel a session ourselves. Where we do so, we will offer you a new date at no extra cost or, if a suitable alternative cannot be arranged, a full refund of the fee paid for that session.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union booking a session for personal, non-business purposes, EU law (the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, as implemented in your country of residence) normally gives you a 14-day right to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason, starting on the day the contract is concluded (the day you book and pay for a session).
Because sessions are typically scheduled and delivered within 14 days of booking, we ask you to expressly agree to the following before completing your booking:
By confirming your booking and completing payment, you expressly request that we begin providing the session on the scheduled date, even if that date falls within the 14-day withdrawal period, and you acknowledge that once the session has been fully performed, you will lose your right of withdrawal, and the fee paid for that session cannot be revoked, reversed, or refunded.
If you withdraw before the session has been fully performed — for example, if you cancel with less than 48 hours' notice under Section 5 but before the session takes place — you acknowledge that, because each session is delivered as a single, indivisible engagement rather than in separately measurable stages, we may retain an amount proportionate to the service already prepared and made available to you, which for a single session already scheduled and prepared may be the full fee paid.
Once a session has taken place and the Service has been fully performed, the right of withdrawal no longer applies, and payment for that session cannot be revoked.
Nothing in this section limits any other statutory right you may have as a consumer that cannot be waived or limited under the mandatory consumer protection law of your country of residence.
To help sessions run smoothly, you agree to:
All frameworks, slides, worksheets, recordings, and other materials we create or provide as part of a session remain our intellectual property, or that of our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use these materials for your own personal or internal professional purposes.
You may not copy, resell, publish, or otherwise distribute our materials to third parties, or use them to create a competing product or service, without our prior written consent.
Our Services are provided as professional coaching, masterclass, public speaking, and advisory support. We do not guarantee any particular business, financial, or career outcome, and nothing in a session constitutes legal, financial, medical, or psychological advice.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with a session is limited to the fees you paid for that session. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including loss of profits, business, or opportunity.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
These Terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer resident in another EU member state, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection afforded by any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
Any dispute arising from these Terms will be submitted to the competent courts of France, without prejudice to your right, as a consumer, to bring proceedings before the courts of your country of residence where mandatory consumer protection law so provides. EU consumers may also refer a dispute to the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Changes will not apply retroactively to a session already booked and paid for.
If you have questions about these Terms, please contact us at hello@advispeaking.com.
